HSN Statement of Faith
I/We believe:

That the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative written Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16)

That one God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22; John 14:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9),
God’s only begotten Son (John 3:16),
in His eternal pre-existence (John 1:1),
in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23),
in His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21),
in His vicarious and atoning death (Romans 5:8),
in His bodily resurrection (Romans 6:4-5),
and ascension (Mark 16:19) to the right hand of the Father where He reigns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords forever (Ephesians 1:20-21).

That salvation is by grace alone, by believing in and accepting Christ as personal Savior. Salvation is only through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

That God created the universe out of nothing, including the creation of mankind, whom He made distinctly and immutably male and female in His own image and from whom all humanity descended. Sexuality is inherent in God’s creation of human beings in His image as male and female.
(Genesis 2:1-7; 1:26-27; Mark 10:6-9)

That the term ‘marriage’ has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as precisely described in Scripture.
(Genesis 2:18-25; Matthew 19:4-6)

That God has given parents the ultimate responsibility to teach their children in the training and admonition of the Lord and has given them the authority over their children.
(Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:1)
