Cleaning Day Policy
Each family must sign up for 3 cleaning days per semester.
However, teachers of at least one full-time class will only sign up for 1 day of cleaning.
A co-teacher would need to teach at least 2 classes to be eligible for the benefit.
Cleaning Day Details

Cleaning is done after classes are dismissed, beginning shortly after 3:00 pm and lasting until the entire building is cleaned and put back in order.
This usually takes about an hour.

Each cleaning family must be dismissed by a director before leaving the building, or an additional fee will be assessed.

Families that only attend during part of the day are still expected to:

If a family encounters a scheduling conflict and cannot fulfill the commitment:

In the case of sudden illness:

Missed cleaning slots must be made up.
If a family fails to:

Show up for their assigned cleaning day

Make arrangements for an absence

Fulfill their obligations in any way
→ A $35 fee will be assessed
Cleaning Day Process

On a family’s assigned cleaning day, they must:

After unloading belongings:

During cleaning:

Parents are responsible for their children

Students must not be unsupervised in any part of the building (inside or outside)

Students may assist with cleaning (a great teaching opportunity)

When assigned tasks are completed:

Help others finish their tasks

Assist with setup in the Worship Center

Check with the director on duty

All families must stay until all cleaning assignments are completed.
The director must sign off that cleaning is complete and give permission to leave.
